Upon arrival at the airport, you’ll be warmly greeted by your driver,will assist you with your luggage and ensure a smooth transfer to your accommodation in Arusha. The drive will offer you a glimpse of the scenic surroundings as you make your way to the hotel. Upon arrival at the hotel, you’ll check in, relax after your journey and enjoy a delicious dinner. Afterward, you’ll have the rest of the evening to unwind and rest, preparing for the exciting adventures to come.
You will be picked up by your driver guide after breakfast and depart to Tarangire National Park with picnic lunches. It is known to be the park which has the greatest concentration of African elephants and the ancient baobab trees. Tarangire has an area of approximately 2603 square Kilometers and within the park it is possible to see plenty of animals like the giraffes, Zebras, Buffalos, warthogs, Lions, Leopards, Impala, gazelles, dik dik and many more species. In this park, there are more than 500 birds’ species like the bee eaters, swallows, ostriches, Kori bustards, hamerkops, vultures etc. The word Tarangire comes from Mbugwe tribe whereby “Tara” means river and “Ngire” means warthogs therefore it is the river of warthogs. The Tarangire river is the life-giving opportunity for both herbivores and carnivores and it is the best spot for the lions to hunt their prey as they search for water especially during the dry season. Lunch will be served at a picnic site and after that you will proceed with your game drive until in the late afternoon and drive straight to your lodge for relaxation, dinner and overnight stay.
After breakfast at the lodge, you will depart to lake Manyara National Park for a game viewing. A game drive at Lake Manyara National Park is an unforgettable experience! Lake Manyara itself is stunning, with a beautiful soda lake that often has flocks of flamingos, especially during the dry season. The view of the lake against the backdrop of the Great Rift Valley escarpment is breathtaking. the park is known for its rich biodiversity. You can encounter elephants, giraffes, zebras, impalas, and buffaloes. Manyara is also famous for its tree-climbing lions, though sightings are rare. The park is also home to a variety of primates like baboons and vervet monkeys, as well as over 400 bird species. The drive takes you through a variety of terrains, such as the lush, forested area near the lake, the alkaline lake shores, and open savannahs. The variety of landscapes makes the drive dynamic and visually rich.at afternoon you will have a picnic lunch at the picnic site, late evening you will check in at the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.
After breakfast, drive to Serengeti National Park, passing through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area via (Maasai boma & Olduvai gorge). You will stop at Maasai Boma, a traditional Maasai village, where you will immerse yourself in their rich culture, learning about their customs, lifestyle, and unique way of life. From there, you will continue to a Olduvai Gorge, one of the most important archaeological sites in the world, where you’ll learn about the early human history and the fascinating discoveries made by renowned paleontologists. Enjoy a scenic drive, with picnic lunches provided along the way. Your journey will take you through the Nabi Hill Gate, where you will register before entering Serengeti National Park. As you proceed with the game drive. The en-route game drive offers sightings of a variety of wildlife, including zebras, gazelles, buffaloes, and more. After a day filled with amazing wildlife encounters and scenic beauty, you will head to your accommodation for a well-deserved hearty dinner and a restful night.
You will have a breakfast at the lodge, then continue with a full day game viewing in central Serengeti. The Serengeti houses the glorious “Big 5” (elephant, rhino, buffalo, lion and leopard). Along with the “Big 5”, a very pleasant sighting would be one of Africa’s most beautiful animals – The Impala. The Serengeti ecosystem supports the greatest remaining concentration of plains game in Africa. The legendary Serengeti National Park is the most renowned safari destination for its incredible population of lions and leopards. The central portion of the Serengeti - known as Seronera area is one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park. It features the Seronera River, which provides a valuable water source to this area and therefore attracts wildlife well representative of most of the Serengeti’s species. In Seronera, one must really look out for the many lion prides that thrive in this region. A picnic lunch will be served. The eventful day comes to an end with a heavy dinner and a good night’s rest in your accommodation.
After breakfast, drive to Ngorongoro Crater for a game viewing with picnic lunches inside the Crater. The Ngorongoro Crater is one of Africa’s most famous sites and is said to have the highest density of wildlife in Africa. Sometimes described as an ‘eighth Wonder of the World’. The Crater has achieved world renown status attracting an ever-increasing number of visitors each year. You are unlikely to escape other vehicles here, but you are guaranteed great wildlife viewing in a genuinely mind-blowing environment. There is nowhere else in Africa quite like Ngorongoro! One of the best places in the country to see the endangered black rhinoceros, lions, herds of wildebeests, zebras and hippos. The park is home to the entirety of the Big Five and is a particularly good place to see lions and Cape buffalo year-round. A packed lunch will be served at a picnic site. Late in the afternoon, drive to your lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.
After enjoying breakfast at your lodge, you'll be transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport to catch your flight back home.
