Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be transferred to the hotel in Arusha, where you will check in for dinner, enjoy your overnight stay and prepare for the next day's adventure, your guide will guide a short briefing to prepare you for the exciting journey ahead.
Early morning after having breakfast at the hotel, you will be picked up by your driver guide and depart straight to Tarangire National Park. Tarangire National Park is located on the northern part of Tanzania with a wide variety of animals and landscape whereby the best part is the elephant herds. It is known to be the park which has the greatest concentration of African elephants and the ancient baobab trees. Tarangire has an area of approximately 2603 square Kilometers and within the park it is possible to see plenty of animals like the giraffes, Zebras, Buffalos, warthogs, Lions, Leopards, Impala, gazelles, dik dik and many more species. In this park, there are more than 500 birds’ species like the bee eaters, swallows, ostriches, Kori bustards, hamerkops, vultures etc. The word Tarangire comes from Mbugwe tribe whereby “Tara” means river and “Ngire” means warthogs therefore it is the river of warthogs. The Tarangire river is the life-giving opportunity for both herbivores and carnivores and it is the best spot for the lions to hunt their prey as they search for water especially during the dry season. Lunch will be served at a picnic site at around 1200hrs to 1300hrs and after that you will proceed with your game drive until in the late afternoon where you will exit the park and drive straight to your lodge for relaxation, dinner and overnight.
After breakfast, check out and begin your scenic drive to Serengeti National Park, passing through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Along the way, enjoy a picnic lunch as you travel through the stunning landscapes. Your journey will take you past the Nabi Hill Gate, where you’ll register and enter Serengeti National Park. Continue your game drive en-route to the Central Serengeti, where you may encounter a variety of wildlife, including big cats, elephants, and more. The park’s breathtaking scenery adds to the magic of your wildlife experience, making it just as memorable as the animals you’ll spot.
Later in the afternoon, check in at the lodge, enjoy a delicious dinner, and settle in for an overnight stay in the heart of the Serengeti.
After breakfast at the camp, depart to North Serengeti with packed lunch. You will explore the central portion of the Serengeti National Park today and move towards the northern part of the park. The enroute game drive towards the Kogatende region will offer mild action from resident games. As you approach the northern part of the Serengeti, you will notice the terrain change from the usual plain grassland to a more hilly and broken terrain. The northern region offers a variety of resident game such as zebras, Topi, gazelle, buffaloes, leopards and lions. A picnic lunch will be done during the day long drive itself. Based on the time of your arrival you will be able to spend a few hours by the Mara River. The eventful day comes to an end with a heavy dinner and a good night's rest in your accommodation.
After breakfast, you will spend the day exploring the Serengeti, embarking on both morning and afternoon game drives. The Serengeti is renowned for its incredible wildlife, breathtaking views, and the awe-inspiring annual migration of over 1.5 million wildebeest and hundreds of thousands of zebras. During this migration, you'll witness dramatic territorial battles and mating rituals, as well as the thrilling spectacle of animals crossing crocodile-infested waters. The wildebeest also give birth to over 8,000 calves daily, contributing to the intense drama of survival. After your game drives, you'll go back to the camp for dinner and overnight stay.
After breakfast at the camp, depart for a morning game drive through the Northern Serengeti. This scenic journey offers additional opportunities to spot wildlife as you make your way.
Enjoy a picnic lunch at a designated site within the Serengeti National Park, surrounded by the park’s breathtaking landscapes and wildlife.
Continue your drive toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, eventually arriving in Karatu. Upon arrival, check in to your lodge and take some time to unwind. Dinner will be served at the lodge, followed by an overnight stay.
Breakfast at the lodge, then drive to Ngorongoro Crater Rim, spend few minutes on the Rim to view the Crater from the top, descend into the crater for a wonderful game drive (with a picnic lunch) inside the Ngorongoro Crater on World Heritage Site holding a permanent population of more than 30 000 animals. As only very few of those migrate in and out of the crater with its 2000 ft. high walls, you can expect to see lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, hippos, flamingos, jackals, rhinos, antelopes, many birds and other species. The Crater is also home to the rare black rhino almost extinct in Tanzania. With a bit of luck, you will see the 'Big Five' during one game drive. Late afternoon, ascend the Crater and drive to the lodge in Arusha for dinner and your overnight.
After breakfast at the lodge, you will be transferred to the beautiful Serval Wildlife sanctuary, a hidden gem nestled in the heart of nature. Before lunch (on your own arrangement), enjoy a unique opportunity to interact with the reserve’s resident wildlife. Get up close with giraffes, zebras, and other native species in a safe and respectful environment. You’ll even have the chance to hand-feed giraffes or simply admire them as they roam freely in their natural surroundings a truly unforgettable experience.
Following your visit to Serval Wildlife, continue to the Kikuletwa Hot Springs. Here, you can unwind and soak in the crystal-clear, naturally heated waters a perfect way to relax before your journey home.
After your time at the hot springs, you will be transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) in time for your outbound flight.
